Our client is a well-known and respected automotive tier 1 supplier. In this search we are looking for an experienced automotive buyer to add to our purchasing staff. OVERVIEW: • The purpose of this position is to develop and lead supply chain initiatives and activities for a low to medium in complexity commodities in accordance with the business strategic requirements set forth by Worldwide Procurement Management. The incumbent will be responsible for all tactical aspects of supply chain procurement including material cost reduction, supplier negotiations, strategic procurement, quality and delivery improvements, VA/VE, project management and supply base reduction.
