Major Pharmaceutical Company has requirement for a Process Development Engineer to join their team at a Multi-Product API Site.
The Process Development Engineer, in conjuction with analytical and organic scientists, will provide proof of concept, develop new processes and transfer processes from the lab to pilot and to full scale commercial manufacturing. Additional responsiblitilies include serviing as a expert resource regarding pharmaceutical process engineering including process design and process scale-up and actively particiapating in equipment setup and process execution.
The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. Chemical Engineering or related degree, 5 or more years Process Development Experience, API manufacturing experience, knowledge of process chemistry and engineering techniques, knowledge of techniques that may include crystillization, chromatography, solvent recovery, chemical synthesis and GMPs as well as highly positive communication and interpersonal skills.
