Responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations (assembly equipment, packaging, material handling, fixtures, and business processes).
· Control pilot projects (document issues, materials, etc.)
· Responsible for PPAP for new parts
Estabilishing labor standards, reliable assembly methods, process flow, fixturing, and project prioritization
· Safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvement initiatives
· Determining root cause of problems and implementing corrective & preventative actions
· Performing Lean Sigma project work, and implementing Lean Manufacturing methodology throughout area of responsibility
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
2-7 years related experience preferred, including experience in Lean Manufacturing Methods
Project management experience
Understanding and working knowledge of statistics and quality control measures and methods.
PC proficiency utilizing MS Office and MS Project
Communication and support to 24-hr/day assembly processes
Proven leadership ability, excellent communicator, confidence inspirer, and self motivator
