An exciting opportunity to join this thriving contract manufacturing organization as they seek to move to the next level. Join the existing management team and coordinate and control all quality programs ensuring quality control and assurance of products.
You will be required to undertake the following major responsibilities:
* Manage Quality & Test Departments - responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of those units. This will include hiring, training and retaining employees.
* Interpret Quality philosophy to key personnel
* Formulate and maintain key quality objectives that are complimentary to corporate policies and goals.
* Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
* Prepare and present technical and program information to the management team.
* Design and implement quality training programs to key personnel in conjunction with their managers.
In order to be successful, you will need to fulfill the following criteria:
* Completed 4 year degree minimum is required. Strong preference for a technical or Quality focused discipline. Six Sigma training / certification highly desireable.
* At least 10 years Quality experience, at least 5 years in electronics contract manufacturing.
* Clear track record of increasing responsibility and demonstrated ability to manage a Quality Department of 30+ employees.
* Good understanding of MRP/ERP software, Spreadsheets and general office software.
* The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding and be able to relate well to the technical issues involved with production.
