Field Applications Engineer, Bay Area, MEMS
Our client is a global leader in the design and fabrication of high-performance,
siliconmicromachined MEMS inertial sensors. It is dedicated to bringing the latest in
MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) technology to the global marketplace. The company
pioneered high-aspect ratio silicon micromachining based on research originally conducted
at Cornell University and enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in MEMS product
design, process engineering and manufacturing.
The company is expanding its field team and has a great opportunity in the Bay Area for an
aplications engineer with experience of supporting sales of semiconductor solutions to the
gaming, mobile handset and personal media player markets on the West Coast.
You will need a technical degree plus a strong background in semiconductors (power,
analog, mixed signal). An applications engineer with analog or microcontroller knowlege
would be ideal.
Experience of supporting sales contracts with a sales cycle of 6 to 12 months and in excess
of $2M would be a distinct advantage. Candidates must be living in the Bay Area.
