Product Marketing Manager, Audio, CA, $95K
Our client is a world-leader in digital audio production systems. The Product Marketing
Manager (PMM) will be responsible for a line of sound hardware and software products for
live performance audio production and recording, as well as related market analysis and
business development activities.
You will interface with clients to better understand their technical requirements and
translate this information into engineering terms for development teams. Will gather,
analyze, and maintain information regarding new markets, products, and competitors. With
this knowledge, will help define and execute new product strategies, updates and
improvements to existing products, and related marketing programs with specific reference
to sound reinforcement technical products.
o BA/BS preferred, or equivalent in music, audio engineering, business or related
technical field required
o 2 plus years of high-tech product management experience in the pro audio
industry, preferably with the live sound installed or contract sound company.
o Requires experience with a variety of digital and analog production equipment
including live mixing consoles, outboard processors, digital audio networking, etc.
o Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Requires technical knowledge including a comprehensive understanding of audio
performance specifications and equipment operation as well as a market knowledge
including the requirements of sound contractors.
o Our client prefers candidates with experience in market analysis and business
development. The role demands superior organizational and time management skills,
along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and the ability to make things happen in
a cross-functional environment.
