Product Marketing Manager, Audio, CA
Job Description
A leader in the design and manufacture of speakers for the home, mobile and professional
audio markets since 1954 has an exciting opportunity for a product marketing expert to
lead their product development programs in CA.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop product business plans and overall product positioning plans
- Oversees and conducts market research
- Monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs
- Produces and delivers product training to field sales
- Creates, manages and leads the execution of product launches
Job Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of developing products for a technology driven company preferably in the
professional audio market
Must have extensive experience in defining end user customer requirements
Excellent writing skills
Excellent presentation skills
Must have an understanding of business to business selling channels
Ability to think strategically and define clear execution plans to meet customer
requirements
Ability to work cross functionally with engineering, sales and executive management
Ability to create business plans for product programs and back up assumptions with solid
market research
Must be passionate and self motivated
Must have a demonstrated track record of continued success in growing revenues in
technology based or pro audio base companies
Must be able to travel ~25% of time domestically and internationally
Compensation
Base salary of around $90K with bonus opportunity and excelllent benefits
