Regional Sales Manager, Utility Market, New England, $125K package

60 year old well established company in MA that is an industry leader in the manufacture of
switches and relays for utilities, the military and general industry, has an exciting
opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:
a combination of direct sales and management of independent reps in the assigned
territory to support strategic goals
evaluation and development of the independent representative sales force including
product knowledge and market penetration
developing customer relationships including negotiating and managing agreements with
major accounts
preparing regional sales forecasts, quarterly sales reviews, budgets and other territory
information
providing technical training for representatives and customers.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, with three
to five years of relevant sales experience. The ideal candidate will have worked with
manufacturer's representatives in the power generation or utility industries. Travel
requirements would be in the area of 25 - 50%. Candidates can be based in New England,
preferably MA.


Compensation:
Base salary around $80K plus car allowance and commission plan. Total potential earnings
will be around $125K. There is no relocation assistance availab
