Sales Engineer, New York, MEMS, $100K package
Our client is a global leader in the design and fabrication of high-performance,
siliconmicromachined MEMS inertial sensors. It is dedicated to bringing the latest in
MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) technology to the global marketplace. The company
pioneered high-aspect ratio silicon micromachining based on research originally conducted
at Cornell University and enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in MEMS product
design, process engineering and manufacturing.
The company is expanding its sales force and has a great opportunity in the NY area for a
sales engineer with experience of selling semiconductor solutions to the gaming, mobile
handset and navigation markets. Experience of selling to companies like Sony Ericsson,
Guillemot and RIM would be a distinct advantage.
You will need a technical degree plus a strong background in selling semiconductors
(power, analog, mixed signal) to the electronics industries. Experience of closing contracts
with a sales cycle of 6 to 12 months and in excess of $2M would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must be living Upstate New York.
Compensation is a base around $80K with a 20% bonus.
