FPC of Cincinnati has a growing metals industry client that is seeking Plant Power Engineers for a number of their plants throughout the USA. These positions are full time opportunities with the plant engineering teams at various plants. In most cases this role will report to either the plant maintenance or engineering manager. To be successful in this role you will need to be a BSEE or graduate of the Navy Nuclear Power School and have a couple years of power engineering experience within heavy industrial process industry plants such as materials/metals mills, chemical plants, power generation plants, refineries, etc. that have their own power generation facilities to support plant operations. You need to be skilled with high voltage power generation, transmission, distribution, transformer, switchgear systems down to drives and PLC systems. This will be an excellent career growth opportunity for upward mobile junior engineers. Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package along with some relocation assistance for these opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
- BS, Electrical Engineering OR Naval Nuclear Power School Certification
- 2-10 years of power engineering experience within heavy industrial process industry plants
- Must have significant power engineering experience with high voltage power generation, transmission, and distribution systems within process industry plants
- Skilled with PLC and Drive systems
- Significant project engineering leadership experience
- Someone who is looking for a company they can work the next 30+ years of their career
- US Citizen
Compensation:
Targeting the $80K to $110K earnings range (base plus bonus) plus annual profit sharing and excellent benefits package
