FPC of Cincinnati has a metals industry client within the Southeastern States region that is seeking an Environmental Engineer to coordinate environmental permitting for the plant. In this role you will report to the plant Environmental Manager and be in charge of much of the hands-on work for air emissions permitting and systems management under Title V. In order to be successful in this role you will need to be a degreed environmental engineer with a number of years of hands-on Title V air emissions engineering experience for large scale smoke stacks found in heavy process industry plants such as steel mills, power plants, chemical plants, refineries, paper mills, glass mills, etc. You need to have a solid plant environmental engineering foundation so no one coming from environmental agencies will work for this role. The hiring manager needs a strong plant environmental engineer for this lead role. This person will be groomed to replace the plant Environmental Manager for he will be retiring within the next couple years. Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package with relocation assistance.
Candidate Profile:
- BS, Engineering (Environmental related)
- 5 to 10 years of environmental engineering experience within heavy industrial process industry plants with large scale smoke stack emissions
- Proven Title V air compliance experience
- Skilled with ISO14001
- Skilled with plant air, waste, and water environmental systems
- Prior manufacturing supervisory experience is desired
- Prior environmental engineering experience within metals mills desired
- Someone who is looking for a company for a long term career
- Someone with a stable career and few company changes
- US Citizen
Compensation:
Targeting the 70K to $80K base salary range plus bonus (5% to 15%) plus profit sharing
