FPC of Cincinnati has a metals industry client in a Great Lakes Metro region that is seeking an Environmental Engineer that is skilled in leading environmental permitting and regulatory projects within heavy industrial materials manufacturing plants such as aluminum mills, paper mills, glass mills, chemical/refinery plants, etc. In this role you will report to the plant EH&S manager and supervise a team of techs and engineers and be responsible for all environmental permitting and regulatory compliance issues. To be successful in this role you will need to be an engineering degreed environmental professional with 5 plus years of environmental related engineering experience within heavy industrial materials manufacturing plants where you have proven skills with smoke stack air emissions permitting and resolving other common plant environmental issues within these types of plants. This is a challenging role that will provide excellent career growth potential with a leading company in the metals industry. Candidate Profile:
- BS, Engineering (Environmental or Chemical preferred)
- 5+ years of environmental engineering experience within heavy industrial materials manufacturing plants (Continuous Process Industry)
- Proven Title V and PSD air compliance experience
- Proven ISO14001 management experience
- Skilled with plant air, waste, water, and radiation environmental systems
- Prior technical department supervisory experience is a plus
- Someone who is looking for a company they can work the next 20+ years of their career
- Someone with a stable career and no more than 2 job changes the last 5 years
- US Citizen
Compensation:
Targeting the $80K to $100K earnings range (base plus bonus) plus annual profit sharing
