FPC of Cincinnati has a metals mill industry client located near a metro area within the Great Lakes States Region that is seeking an Electrical Engineer for their rolling mill department. In this role you will report to the plant maintenance manager and be in charge of a wide range of projects supporting maintenance, capital projects, and process automation personnel. To be successful in this role you will need to be a BSEE with significant electrical engineering experience within metals rolling mills where you have worked in maintenance, project, and automation engineering type roles. You will need to be a self starter with a good work ethic to undertake the challenges of this role. You will need to be skilled with HMI, DCS, PLC’s, Drives and Power Distribution systems used in metals rolling mills. Candidate Profile:
- BS, Electrical Engineering OR Naval Nuclear Power School Certification
- 2 to 10 years of electrical engineering experience within metals rolling mills
- Significant experience running engineering projects and capable of running multiple projects at the same time
- Proficient with modern maintenance reliability technology
- Skilled with HMI, DCS, PLC’s, Drives, and Power Distribution systems
- Someone who is upward mobile with a strong work ethic and initiative
- Someone who is looking for a company for a long term career
- US Citizen
Compensation:
Targeting the $60K to $70K base salary plus bonus (5% to 15% range) and profit sharing.
