FPC of Cincinnati is conducting a confidential search for metals industry client near a Great Lakes States USA region metro area that is seeking a new Maintenance Manager for their primary division. Our client is seeking a strong reliability management change agent to change the reactive maintenance culture to a proactive/predictive culture. In this role you will report to the Division Manager and managed a department of 40 personnel with 4 to 5 direct reports. To be successful in this role you will need to be a degreed engineer with a strong maintenance reliability engineering background within steel or specialty alloys melting and casting operations using electric arc furnaces combined with some prior maintenance reliability management change agent experience within primary metals operations. This position includes a competitive compensation and benefits package along with some relocation assistance.
Candidate Profile:
- BS, Engineering degree
- 5+ years of maintenance reliability engineering experience within metals mills
- Significant mainenance reliability leadership experience within steel mill melt shops
- Strong maintenance skills with Electric Arc Furnaces
- Must have maintenance reliability management experience within metals mills or continuous process industry plants
- Accomplishments in changing maintenance cultures to proactive/predicative reliability systems
- Strong skills with RCM, CMMS, failure analysis, vibration, thermography, and lubrication systems and technology
- Someone who is looking for a company they can work the next 10 plus years of their career
- Someone with high energy and drive to succeed in changing the culture
- Someone with a stable career and no more than 2 job changes the last 5 years
- US Citizen
Compensation:
Targeting the $100K to $130K base salary range with bonus potential up to 20%
