IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE A NDT BACKGROUND WITHIN OCTG PIPE MILLS
FPC of Cincinnati has a metals industry client that is seeking a NDT Manager to lead their NDT programs throughout their North American tubular products division. In this role you will report directly to a VP level executive and manage a department of 10 to 20 NDT leadership professionals that are located across their tube mills here in the North America. This position will most likely be based out of a major metro area within the Great Lakes states or Southwestern States region of the USA. To be successful in this role you will need to be NDT Level 3 certified in UT or RT and have significant manufacturing and NDT experience within OCTG Pipe Mills combined with a good manufacturing supervisory/management background. This will be a high profile role in charge of all NDT activities for this division and will be the face of the division to the various NDT and Materials societies as well. Candidate Profile:
- NDT Level 3 Certification in UT or RT (ASNT or GCSB)
- Significant NDT experience within OCTG Pipe Mills
- Significant supervisory experience within manufacturing plants
- Strong hands-on manufacturing background within ERW pipe mills
- Knowledgeable of CSA, API, and ASTM specifications
- 10+ years of welded steel pipe mill experience desired
- Significant quality assurance experience with OCTG pipe is a plus
- Significant welding technology development experience for OCTG Pipe Mills is a plus
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Compensation:
Targeting the $100K+++ salary range plus 10% Bonus. Very flexible on salary for candidates with 10+ years of NDT experience within OCTG Pipe mills.
