This position is almost completely clinic based with the occasional OB consult in the hospital. Hospitalists care for diabetic in-patients. This group attracts patients within a 200 mile radius and most patients are highly compliant.
There are no procedures being done in the office. Radiology handles the biopsies and imaging is referred out. The practice is located in the medical office building adjacent to the hospital. Our 244-bed acute care facility was the first in the County! We are a Level II Trauma Center with 24/7 ER.
The hospital campus features four medical office buildings, two pharmacies and the offices of more than 100 physicians.
Kansas City is a Metro area of over 2 million- a beautiful city with more fountains than any city other than Rome and more boulevards than any city other than Paris!
The city's diversions include world-class museums, a vibrant arts scene superb shopping and restaurants as well as an exciting music scene with great blues and jazz clubs. More than $9 billion in major improvements are under way across Kansas City–$4.5 billion in downtown development. This includes the new downtown entertainment and nightlife district.
