Practice in a Resort area in Florida with No MANAGED CARE! This extremely busy practice offers a competitive first year salary along with bonus. Excellent compensation based on productivity. This practice offers extensive benefits with professional liability insurance. Call will be 1:14 about 1 night every couple of weeks, 2 weekends a year unless you trade. This is a great community and an excellent place to raise a family.
Practice was founded in 1994. and serves approximately 90,000 patients in the County. Our patient base is approximately 50% Medicare, 45% private/commercial insurance and 5% self/private pay. We currently employ 24 physicians, 5 ARNPs and 1 PA-C. We do not accept Medicaid or work comp. Our Medical Director, has been Chief of Staff at both hospitals.
Our Family Medicine physicians are on staff at 2 Hospitals. We have 2 hospitalists ( 7:30am to 5pm at both hospitals) which enables our physicians to alternate weeknight phone call (weeknight visits to the hospitals are rare) and weekend call (1 to 2 weeknights per month, every 14th weekend).
Our physician benefit package includes a health/dental/Rx/life insurance (company currently contributes $2,550 per annum), a 401k package (you can change participation rate at the beginning of each month), 2 weeks vac the first year, 3 weeks vac thereafter, 5 days per annum paid CME leave, 5 days per annum sick pay, $3,500 per annum for CME/due/licenses and medical malpractice coverage.
FAMILY MEDICINE POSITION
Our clinics offer in-house labs, on-site x-rays and echocardiography. Our physicians see patients from 7:30am to 5pm, 4 days per week and from 7:30am to noon, one day per week. (The half-day of unscheduled patients each week is to catch-up on paperwork and compensate for the hospital call schedule.) We bill and manage patient scheduling on Medical Manager.
The 3-part physician compensation package is comprised of a base salary (calculated as 42% of hands-on collections, a monthly productivity bonus (approx $500 per month) and a quarterly profitability bonus (approx $1,000 per qtr). We do offer a guaranteed base for an initial contract period. Our employment contract does contain a non-compete clause. Our annual physician compensation ranges from $140,000 to $200,000.
