Opportunity for a Board Eligible/Certified Infectious Disease Specialist to practice in a highly desirable community in the Bay area of CA.
We are offering a very competitive financial support package for an Infectious Disease Specialist, crafted to attract the right candidate. This opportunity includes both inpatient consultation and an outpatient practice, owned and operated by the Hospital. After hours call is limited to physicians covering the outpatient practice.
A Medical Director’s agreement to provide oversight and expertise to Infectious Disease processes, protocols and management is available.

Hospital is an independent, non-profit with 180 beds/ As a specialist you may be interested in knowing that Medical Hospitalists provide inpatient coverage. Hospitalist programs in Orthopedic Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology and General Surgery also provide Emergency Department coverage. An Intensivist program covers medical/surgical, intensive care and step-down units, and a busy obstetric service.
The population is somewhat younger than surrounding areas, though in recent years there has been marked growth in middle age and older groups. With an annual growth rate of 1.5% per year, we are one of the faster growing areas in Northern California. The area is an excellent location with affordable housing and an expanding job base that fuels the growth of this desirable community.
