An opportunity is available for a board eligible or board certified otolaryngologist to practice in a highly desirable community in  the Bay area of CA. Join  an experienced otolaryngologist to serve his very busy practice.  This is a broad based general otolaryngology practice.  Existing patient volume and practice growth may serve the interests of fellowship trained physicians in otology, laryngology or sinus surgery/rhinology. The office site is conveniently located within walking distance to the medical center campus. Call coverage for the practice would be shared.  Weekend call is shared with two other otolaryngology groups in the area and will be every 4-6 weeks.

A very competitive  income is guaranteed, crafted to attract the right candidate. Emergency Department call coverage is limited to seven days per month.  Hospital provides a stipend for call coverage and assures payment for indigent patients.
Hospital is an independent, non-profit with 180 beds.  As a specialist you may be interested in knowing that medical hospitalists provide inpatient coverage.  Hospitalist programs in orthopedic surgery, obstetrics/gynecology and general surgery also provide Emergency Department coverage.  An intensivist program covers medical/surgical, intensive care and step-down units, and a busy obstetric service.

The population is somewhat younger than surrounding areas, though in recent years there has been marked growth in middle age and older groups.  With an annual growth rate of 1.5% per year,  this is one of the fastest growing areas in Northern California.  The area is an excellent location with affordable housing and an expanding job base that fuels the growth of this desirable community.
