An academic center in NC is seeking a full time Chief of Pediatric Surgery to develop a full service Division of Pediatric Surgery over the next several years. This individual would also serve as Chief of Surgery and Surgical Director of a children’s hospital. He/she would work collaboratively with the Medical Director to build a nationally recognized academic and clinical program as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric referral center.
Applicants must have excellent clinical skills, a commitment to education and/or research, and the ability to develop and build programs in a multidisciplinary environment.
The candidate should be Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery. Leadership or management experience in an academic teaching hospital(s) is preferred.
