Physician Assistant for Spine surgery practice- working with Orthopedic Surgeon and/or NeuroSurgeon. Join this reknowned private practice in a very progressive facility.
The Physician's Assistant works with a supervising physician and utilitizes clinical protocols for the provision of care. the PA assists with surgery, including evaluations, diagnosis, treatment and patient education.
The Physician's Assistant (PA) serves as an extender to the physicians on the Stroke and Neurosurgical Service and as a patient care provider as appropriate to the level of training within the scope of PA licensure. The PA works closely with the individual physicians to assure appropriate care and follow up for patients is provided as directed by the physicians. The PA collaborates, communicates and coordinates with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients and families.

Qualifications: Must have AL PA license, as well as current BLS and ACLS. Two years of surgical experience preferred. Must have NCCPA certification.
