FPC of Grand Rapids is a member of a group of independently owned FPC offices located throughout the United States.  Formerly knows as F-O-R-T-U-N-E Personnel Consultants, FPC has set a distinguished standard for leadership and quality since 1959.  FPC of Grand Rapids upholds a commitment to integrity, honesty and professionalism in executive recruiting.

ABOUT THE PRESIDENT

Norb Dishinger is the Owner and President of FPC of Grand Rapids .  Norb’s career path began at the General Electric Locomotive Operation in Erie , PA where he started working in the factory as a press operator in 1970 while attending college. Then upon graduation from Gannon University in 1973 Norb attained his first salary exempt level position in Methods and Work Measurement in Propulsion Manufacturing Operations.  Over the next 10 years Norb held a series of progressive positions in Shop Operations, Production Control, Purchasing/Supply Chain, and Program Management.  In 1980 Norb graduated from Gannon University with an MBA focused on Organizational Behavior/Development.  In 1984 Norb became one of the youngest subsection managers at that time in Control Manufacturing.   In 1986 Norb was recruited to join Martin Marietta - Orlando Aerospace as a Manager of Program Planning and Control.  In 1988 General Electric recruited Norb back to their Aerospace Operation in Syracuse , NY for another promotion. In 1992 Norb was recruited to Michigan where he was able to gain experience in the Automotive Industry by holding a series of progressive positions at companies like Tower Automotive, ITT Automotive and Pridgeon and Clay where he held the position of Plant Manager - Stamping and Assembly until he left in 2001 to prepare and plan for opening his own Executive Recruiting firm.
