Develops, leads and implements packaging process and equipment projects. Identifies opportunities for process improvement in the areas of new technology, flow improvement, process standardization, cost reduction and regulatory compliance. Effectively coordinates capital projects, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives with multifunctional teams from Manufacturing, Quality, Package Engineering, Facilities, Finance and outside suppliers and equipment manufacturers.  Maintains an awareness of current packaging and sterilization advances and technologies relative to medical devices and/or other health care products.  Reports to the Project Manager, Global Packaging.

Job Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related scientific discipline.

·        10 plus years experience in Medical Device Industry

·        Multivac Form Fill and Seal Experience

·        Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Methodology experience
