Senior Electric Motor Design Engineer OR Senior Electic Motor Applications Engineer (2 Roles) 

Our client Manufactures Electric Motors - Motors for Automotive, Industrial and Consumer Products. Motors range from large 40KW HEV Hybrid Vehicle Size to and small fractional motors to 0.5KW.

Electric Motor Design Engineers will have technical expertise in electromagnetic Motor Design engineering in Induction Motors, PM Motors or other Motors. As such you would participate in Research and Development of new motors for new motor applications as well participate in design improvements in existing motor product line.

The Electric Motor Application Engineers will have prior experience in selection or specifying the right motor for the right application. I.E you would have evaluated the motor application and selected the right motor - application expertise with either large motors or fractional horsepower motors is acceptable. You would generate the appropriate Motor specification to be able to procure the right motor.

• Candidates should have the following background: designing, developing, and testing motors Motor Experience can be from any Industry - Automotive Motors, Motors for Aerospace, Industrial Motors or Motors in consumer products.
• Motor design engineer should be able to perform electromagnetic calculations for motor and applications.
• Applications Engineer should be able to perform all of the calculations for motor applications - size, torque, voltage, current, speed, shaft diameter, Watts, gear-reduction.
• Must be able to develop application design verification test program and oversee testing.
