TRAINING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (OD) MANAGER – BI-LINGUAL (SPANISH) MANUFACTURING

 

HOT HOT HOT--  Bi-Lingual TRAINING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVEOPMENT MANAGER for our client, a large international Stainless Steel manufacturing company.  Based outside of Mobile, AL, the NEWLY CREATED ROLE OF TRAINING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER will be responsible for the design and delivery of functional, leadership and professional training for the facilities that fall under the Americas group, which will include Mexico.

TRAINING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER include:

·       Plan, develop and deliver all training and OD programs as determined through interaction with executive management, managers and corporate Training and OD dept.

·       Identify, design, develop and implement all learning solutions and programs company wide

·       Conduct needs analysis and assessments to support existing programs and to determine gaps  and areas for future learning initiatives

·       Evaluate effectiveness of programs and recommend and initiate changes to accommodate corporate and employee needs; including leadership and managerial development

·       Develop and deliver technical training

·       Train managers in team development and the use of development plans for subordinate employees

·       Track team member development plans

·       Develop and deliver training manuals and determine the appropriate use of other available media for training; including outside vendors, e-learning, and other educational materials

·       Work closely with operations and HR to identify talent development needs and to ensure learning solutions directly support all employees and all contingencies

·       Other HR responsibilities as needed

Requirements of the TRAINING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER include:

·       Bachelors’ degree in Organizational Development, HR or related field

·       Minimum 7 years of experience in TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

·       Must be able to demonstrate success in a similar role

·       MUST BE BI-LINGUAL (ENGLISH-SPANISH) Able to Develope Training and Train in Spanish; soft skills through technical skills, all levels

·       Must be thoroughly computer literate including all Microsoft programs

·       SAP and SAP Success Factors experience preferred

·       Must be able to travel to Mexico and occasionally to Europe

·       Excellent communicator

 

·       Must have initiative and be flexible and able to lead by example
