FPC Raleigh has been engaged to locate a new Production Manager for a strong manufacturer of home and consumer products. This person will run a team of 20-40 hourly production personnel. The company is well-positioned in the market and has come through the recession without significant change in business, grabbing market share from their competitors. They continue to have strong sales with a bright future.

The person in this role will have production responsibility for fabrication or assembly, depending on the skill match of the candidate. More importantly, this role is an essential element in the talent pipeline for this company.

Required Qualifications:

* BS, BA

* 2+ years experience in manufacturing

* 6 months experience in a supervisory capacity

* Lean experience (Kanban, SMED, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, etc)

* Track record of driving improvement with quantified results

* Growth-oriented employment history

Preferred Qualifications:

* MBA

* Six Sigma experience (DMAIC, DMADV, DFSS)
