FPC Raleigh has been engaged to locate a new Director of Manufacturing for a medium-sized plant in Missouri. The company is a leader in its industry with a six-fold increase in employment in the last 15 years. Sales have climbed to well over $1B. It is a major player in the industrial equipment markets it serves and continues to attract very strong talent. This plant is the premier facility in the division.
This Director role will have leadership responsibility for a $100MM plant with over 200 non-union associates. The person in this position will direct the major functions at the plant, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, materials and logistics.
Required Qualifications:
* BS in Engineering
* 10+ years experience, with at least 3 of that running a plant
* Experience in a heavy machining and assembly environment
* Lean experience (Kanban, SMED, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, etc)
* Track record of driving improvement with quantified results
* Growth-oriented employment history
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA
* Six Sigma experience (DMAIC, DMADV, DFSS)
