FPC Raleigh has been engaged to locate a new Director of Operations for a key location of a mid-sized consumer products chemical filling operation. The company enjoys unique brand relationships and value price points allowing for a successful business model, even in slow times. The person in this role will lead all activities at a site of about 100 people and be responsible for a smaller second site as well. This is a highly visible role and responsible for 40% of the revenue for this company.
Required Qualifications:
* BS, engineering preferred
* 10+ years experience, 2+ in plant management
* Track record of driving improvement with quantified results
* Growth-oriented employment history
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA
* Consumer packaged goods experience
* Lean experience (Kanban, SMED, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, etc)
* Six Sigma experience (DMAIC, DMADV, DFSS)
