FPC Raleigh has been engaged to locate a new Process Engineer for a strong manufacturer of home and consumer products. The company is well-positioned in the market and has come through the recession without significant change in business, grabbing market share from their competitors. They continue to have strong sales with a bright future.
The Process Engineer will lead process improvements through out the large company. Projects may target change over time reduction, scrap reduction, speed improvement - anything that drives productivity. This is high-action, low-bureaucracy organization where you are limited by your energy and imagination. This company is looking to top grade every position with strong, promotable, and career-oriented talent.
Required Qualifications:
* BS in Engineering or Business
* 2-5 years of manufacturing engineering related experience
* Lean experience (Kanban, SMED, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, etc)
* Experience writing SOPs
* Track record of driving improvement with quantified results
* Growth-oriented employment history
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bilingual in Spanish
* Six Sigma experience (DMAIC, DMADV, DFSS)
