My client, a privately-owned company, focused on developing new therapies, is seeking a bench level senior scientist for their growing analytical development needs.
This senior scientist will provide leadership in the following areas:
Drug substance (DS) characterization, reference standard qualification, stability and specification development
- Solid oral dosage form characterization, in-process control, stability, and specification development
- Development and validation of appropriate analytical methods and improvement of existing ones to support the appropriate stage of drug development .
Qualifications:
PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years pharmaceutical R&D NCE and Drug Product experience in GMP environments (branded pharma only).
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
- Expert knowledge in HPLC and GC method development for stage appropriate drug development
- Extensive knowledge of current analytical methodologies for trace level impurity identification and quantitation (Varied HPLC detections systems, LC/MS, LS/MS-MS, GC/MS, NMR, IC, etc.)
- Recent development experience with method development/validation as it pertains to solid oral dosage forms (small molecule only) and API for NCEs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
