The desired individual will have a BS Degree from an accredited campus based University with preference given to individuals with an MBA.

Must have:

> 8-10 years strategic sourcing and/or operation purchasing management experience

> Experience with aerospace related commodities on a global basis

>Must have current aerospace industry knowledge related to cost management, supplier development, supply chain management

>Proven experience in the development of global supply relationships, operating in a matrix environment, with strong analytical and presentation skills

>Past experience managing professional and administrative staff

> Excellent organizational and program management abilities

> Able to Travel globally , travel schedule up to 40%

Experience in the following would be a plus:

>SAP systems environment

>Demand Driven Operations Management and exposure to Lean Manufacturing >

>Experience with Value Analysis/Value Engineering
