Andrea Locklear – Managing Director – Attorney Recruitment
Andrea Locklear specializes in attorney and compliance professional placement for leading U.S. law firms, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 companies. Until 2007, she was Chief Legal Personnel and Development Officer at Sullivan & Cromwell, devising strategies and creating powerful programs to recruit and retain the best and the brightest lawyers in the world.
Before joining Sullivan & Cromwell, Ms. Locklear held management-level positions at Debevoise & Plimpton and Skadden, Arps, spearheading innovative, ethical, results-driven recruitment and retention programs. At Sullivan & Cromwell, she served on a committee set up by Harvard Law School’s Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice to address the achievement gap in young African American men.
Ms. Locklear’s long-term dedication to helping lawyers with their careers has provided her with an impressive, valuable network of talented candidates, as well as a roster of high-quality clients. Andrea received an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida.
