Lean Manufacturing Engineer:
Main Responsibilities:
-Implement lean manufacturing systems at operations manufacturing sites located in North America
-Utilize value stream mapping, kaizen events and material flow processes to product strategic and tactical approach to implementation plans
-Implementing sustainable metrics by cell and plant to drive consistency and quality of the product flow to meet customer demand
-High contribution to on-time delivery to the customer by cell and product line
-Provide the necessary leadership to promote change throughout the organization and develop and lead lean manufacturing.
-Facilitate the design of new business processes
-Identify cost reductions/savings
-Drive and facilitate projects while working with senior management
-Experience in knowledge and application of operations strategy consulting methods and frameworks (Required)
-At least 2 years experience in specific automotive industry operations, product design or business strategy (via consulting or industry experience) (Required)
-Willingness to travel up to 95%; traveling 5 days a week, home on most weekends, some international travel required
- Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing / six sigma
Mechanical Reliability engineer
Searching for a mechanical reliability engineer to lead the reliability systems development and implementation for a new state of the art chemical processing plant facility. In this role you will report to the head project manager and be in charge of all reliability systems development, implementation, and training of the maintenance work force on those systems. This will involve developing the vibration, thermography, and lubrication systems and training the maintenance techs involved with those systems. If you are a degreed mechanical engineer with a number of years of maintenance reliability engineering experience with predictive/proactive maintenance systems within chemical related process industry plant operations and you are looking for an opportunity with a growing company then this is an opportunity you will want to explore. This company has solid business booked for nearly 2 years in advance right now and they are heavily backed by government funding to develop this state of the art facility. Main Requirements-BS degree in Engineering (Required)
- BS, Mechanical Engineering
- 3-10 years of mechanical reliability engineering experience within process industry plants
- Skilled in leading predictive/proactive maintenance systems development and implementations at the department or small plant level within process industry plants
- Significant hands-on maintenance/reliability engineering experience with chemical/metal refining equipment
- Skilled in developing and implementing CMMS, failure analysis, vibration, thermography, and lubrication systems
- Proficient with MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project
- Accomplishments in reducing maintenance costs, machinery failures, and machine downtimes
- Must be a US Citizen
- CMRP or CRE certification
- Proficient with SAP CMMS
- Significant maintenance or engineering supervisory experience within manufacturing plants
