85% of Job Seekers Say Something Good Has Come Out of the Recession

NEW YORK, November 16, 2009— FPC Workplace Web Poll Data indicates that while jobseekers are undoubtedly challenged by this job market, 85% of them say something good has come from it.  A substantial percentage said they’ve noticed that people are helping each other through the tough times.

FPC, a national executive search firm, polls job candidates visiting www.fpcnational.com on their perspective on workplace issues. 

10,663 respondents surveyed across all industries and job levels answered the following questions:

“What good have you seen come out of this recession?”
19%    People who have jobs are working hard and staying focused?
29%    People are trying to focus on all the positives in their lives
37%    People are helping each other through the tough times
15%    I haven’t seen anything particularly good come out of this
