My client is focused on developing improvements in lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery technology. The Company's technology addresses many of the fundamental safety problems of Li-ion batteries and, at the same time, has the potential to enable continued growth in overall energy density. Because this technology can be applied across a broad spectrum of Li-ion battery designs, Their products have potential application in portable electronic devices such as mobile phones and notebook computers, as well as emerging markets in backup power and transportation systems, including hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs).

 
They are current seeking electrochemists as they have moved in a pilot plant and are testing thier product(s) under robust conditions to validate their performance.
 
Requirements
 
An undergraduate degree in metallurgy, materials science, and/or chemistry is highly relevant.
Ten plus years of lab experience
Significant focus on cathode materials a major plus.
