BUYER

To manage the relationship with suppliers that assures best Total Acquisition cost, putting in place contracts which result in the best price, quality, delivery and services for our cient.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Directly responsible to attain the best Total Acquisition Cost (negotiating price, quality, service, delivery)

· Manage relationship with suppliers

· Define and meet annual Cost Reduction Objectives

· Lead internal sourcing process

· Meet Internal Auditing goals

· Assure Internal Customer satisfaction

· Maintain close track on Industry trends

· Collaborate with other departments (internal customers) thru Projects/Product Development

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Industrial Engineering or related field

· 5-7 years of experience in Purchasing within Automotive Industry, 8-10 years min experience in a Steel-related industry

· Experience leading project development teams

· Experience implementing Continuous Improvement
