A premier global company involved in the manufacture of thermoset composite materials, including epoxy, has created a new position of Vice President Asia/Pacific. This Shanghai, China based position has responsibility for several plant locations, all commercial activities in the region, and overall supply chain management. The selected candidate will develop a formal strategic approach to business growth and will mentor and motivate the existing sales and marketing organization. This position as full P&L responsibility for the Asia Pacific region.
Candidates must have extensive general management and commercial experience in Asia as a regional director or VP, in a plastic or chemical environment, with revenue in excess of $300million US. You must be highly accomplished with a history of creating successful business organizations in the region and motivating associates. Knowledge of renewable energy markets like Wind is a major plus. Chinese language fluency is a necessity and the willingness to spend a major portion of your career in the region is important. Relocation is available for the right candidate, but the ideal person will have lived and worked in China for most of his/her career.. An advanced technical degree is preferred. We are looking for an industry leader with a strong Asian presence.
