Shelly Blackman, Managing Partner

Shelly brings nearly 20 years of combined military and corporate senior leadership experience in logistics, distribution, and manufacturing.

A strong business foundation combined with a keen ability to assess talent, Shelly achieved immediate success earning Rookie of the Year and Platinum Elite honors. Effective results for clients drove unparalleled success and Shelly now owns her own franchise office and is a consistent annual top 5 producer among 65 offices nationwide.

Shelly is extremely effective because she commits the time to building strong relationships with both clients and candidates. This enables candid and detailed discussions with hiring managers about what success specifically looks like. With that goal in mind, she efficiently recruits top performing passive candidates and energizes them around new opportunities to contribute in larger ways for her clients.

Shelly’s largest partners have been with manufacturing and distribution clients with annual revenues between $20M-1B per year. These companies rely on Shelly to place top talent across the USA as well as into their growth areas abroad. Shelly has placed talent in Ireland, England, Germany, and China.

Shelly earned a BBA from the American Military University while fully employed and later earned an MBA from the American InterContinental University. She is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Shelly was born and raised in NY and enlisted in the US Marines two days after the attack on the World Trade Center in September 2001. An accomplished athlete with a full Division 1 college scholarship, she chose instead to serve 8 years as a communication specialist in high tech radio communications. Shelly deployed 4 times to Iraq sustaining injuries and ultimately discharged honorably as a disabled combat veteran.

Out of the military, Shelly accepted a junior position at Chrysler. Working and studying full time, Shelly quickly advanced into management leadership roles. She was attracted to an opportunity at Toyota where she led over 300 employees during a new product launch and achieved a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma certification. Shelly then moved to Pier 1 Distributions as Director of Operations she led 12 Supervisors and 325 employees. She also led projects in labor force communications and audit of facility Compliance, Safety, Quality Assurance, Receiving/Shipping and Production. Shelly was then recruited to join Geodis during their acquisition of Ohl which made them a leading 3PL company in the US. Here she led multiple sites across 6 states overseeing a P&L of $300M. She was responsible for and led contract negotiations, staffing, real estate, LTL/TL freight, capital equipment, facility maintenance, including management of 1500 employees. Her top client accounts included Nestle, Morton salt, Microsoft, Apple, Cardinal Health, Owens & Minor, and Henry Schein.

Kristina Kelly, Business Operations Manager

Kristina is the Business Operations Manager at FPC Bellwood. She is from Milton, Ga, which is located in between the North of Alpharetta. Growing up, Kristina rode horses competitively which allowed her to understand the importance of trust and patience while also introducing her to lifelong connections.She attended Cambridge Highschool where she received the Zell Miller Scholarship due to her high grades. With that scholarship she attended Georgia Southern, graduating Magna Cum Laude receiving BBA. Here, she was a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity, raising thousands of dollars for an organization called “Make a Wish Ga”. The money donated to this organization gave children with life-threatening diseases and illnesses the opportunity to make a wish of theirs come true.  Kristina graduated Magna Cum Luade receiving a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2018.  She then transitioned to Brown Chiropractic where she was responsible for scheduling over 300 patients, communicating with insurance/legal companies, setting up A/R, and designing the company website.  She joined FPC Bellwood in 2020.

In her free time, Kristina volunteers with orphans in Latin countries (specifically Guatemala/Peru), where she has become well versed in the Spanish Language.  Here, she helps teach English to orphans so they can achieve higher education or to obtain a job where bi-lingual speakers are wanted and encouraged. She also helps raise money to give the orphanage clean drinking water and create a better gardening system for the land to be self-sustainable. Kristina enjoys daily running with her dog, Mango and weekends at the beach. Kristina has been fortunate enough to travel around the world and learn about other cultures in a way most haven’t.
